WIN THE AFTERMATH: HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION MANAGEMENT
AUGUST 24-25, 2019
PRESCOTT, Arizona
Instructor: Gabe Suarez

Suarez International is pleased to announce the Interview and Investigation Management Class. You have learned to use your service pistol with excellent accuracy and speed, now learn to use your words with equal skill of eloquence and expression.  This class is a further development of the ground-breaking Killing Within the Law lecture. Unique in depth of instruction, originality of content and credentials of presenters, this course of instruction focuses on the investigation that takes place after a use of force incident. Through an incredibly honest, first-hand, “been there-done that” instructor-led discussion the participant will gain a personalized and in-depth knowledge of the process of a use of force, deadly or otherwise, investigation. And most importantly how to manage the interview and subsequent investigation to your benefit.

  • Understanding the Law and Use of Force – Removing Misconceptions and Hindrances to Survival
  • Instilling Trigger Points, Though Processes and easily articulated Facts
  • Removing ineffective fear-based programming and replacing with proper attitudes
  • Flowcharts for use of force, micro statements and necessary after action events
  • Reading the flow of the investigation
  • verbal force on force and tactical articulation concepts
  • Navigating the Gray – the Post-Shoot Treatise; Mental, Financial, Civil and Criminal Aftermath Success
  • Suitable for LE professionals, private citizens, and trainers.

Course material will have the attendee giving interviews, making actual micro and complete statements, and articulating flow and facts about events as they are presented.  This is not a listen and learn event but will have the students participating in a verbal force on force session with the goal of careful and tactical articulation of mental states and thought process justifying the actions in question.

  • Lunch will be provided daily and we will work through lunch

Warrior Scholarship Fund

Suarez International is pleased to announce the Suarez International Warrior Scholarship Fund. Originally created by members of the WarriorTalk Forum, the Scholarship Fund was successfully used to train numerous municipal, county, and state law enforcement officers in advanced areas of counter-terrorism. This original scholarship program was devised to send selected professionals to training which was otherwise unobtainable, largely due to financial constraints of the individual and/or agency involved. By pulling together resources, financial constraints were lifted, professionals trained to an extremely high standard, and return on investment realized by the re-training of others.

To continue with the mission of training professionals, Suarez International has agreed to place $100 from each applicant tuition into the new Suarez International Warrior Scholarship Fund for use in helping those worthy who would not otherwise be able to progress. For each scholarship funded by this lecture series, Suarez International has agreed to provide one scholarship at no cost.
