The Extreme Reliability Extractor Depressor Plunger Unit (EDP) is a highly refined version of the factory extractor depressor plunger, spring, and bearing. We have experienced wear in the polymer and MIM (metal injection molded) metal bearing surfaces of the factory unit which could contribute to extraction issues under hostile environmental or operational conditions. To resolve these issues we developed an improved version for use with the Glock factory LCI Extractor (GLSP01895). The components are precision machined from American Steel and Melonite finished for corrosion resistance and to achieve extreme hardness. The Suarez Extreme Reliability EDP Unit is heavier thicker, and vastly stronger than the factory unit.  Our EDP Unit installs the same way as the factory unit, and includes the Suarez Improved Reliability Extractor Spring.
